'Attilio' is an ideal replacement for Trevor F1. It is a Nantes type with a sweet and succulent taste, with good colour and texture. This variety is particularly tasty in summer salads or in winter casseroles. It has a high tolerance to cavity spot and a high resistance to breaking and silvering.

Where to Sow
Sow carrot seeds thinly direct into the growing site 2cm (¾") deep in rows 30cm (12") apart. If possible sow carefully so that thinning is not necessary.
What to do Next
Thin seedlings only if needed, as this proecess attarcts carrot flies. Thin carrot seedlings in the evening. Water before thinning and remove all the debris. Do not transplant. Aim for roots 5-7cm (2-3") apart. Young Carrots can always be pulled alternately to 'thin as you eat'.
